  1. Kia ora Jolan,
My name is Kieryn and I will be working with Kaniere School to comment on your blog posts over the next two terms.
You’ve done a fantastic job creating this blogpost about Coast to Coast; Facts and Opinions. I really like how you have a seperate section for both facts and opinions, and think it was excellent how you even included examples to accompany your blogpost.
I never knew that the Coast to Coast race was made by Kathmandu, or that it costs $1200 for a single entry, so thank you for sharing this new information!
One fact that I do know about the Coast to Coast is that it is 243 kilometers of running, cycling and kayaking. In order to do this race, you would need to be pretty fit and train exceedingly hard so you would be able to complete the race.
Do you think you will ever enter the Coast to Coast? Why/why not?
I see under your opinions section you mentioned how they “then follow the taramakau river to the foothills of the southern alps where they switch their bikes for runners and the first true test of the course”.
As you have copied and pasted this information from the Coast to Coast website, it is important to include the source as to where you got your information from.
It is also important to note that this is actually a fact rather than an opinion because it is telling you where the competitors are going.
Quick Tip- The writing is slightly hard to read over the rainbow background. Perhaps you could edit this blogpost and make the writing bold so it is easier for your viewers to read.
    Nga mihi
